The shower is a great place to contemplate religion. There is something about water running over you as a form abstract cleansing that make you think deeply about stupid things. This morning I was tasked with re-imaging the truth behind the Adam and Eve story from the Bible. So. In summary. Charlottesville, Virginia. This is not the first time we have seen marches of Neo-Nazis, White Nationalists, and other Hateful groups gather together to express an opinion. It has been happening in the USA before our country was even born. Ever since white Europeans sailed the ocean to colonize this country, we have had massive mobilizations of hate-filled people attempting to "make this land great!" It is disheartening to see that after all this time there are still so many of us who feel like the freedom they deserve can only be achieve by minimizing and destroying the people who they misguidedly believe are in their way. Running cars though people as if they are nothing but dirt on the road. It is disgusting. Then I look at the people who are doing counter-protests in some areas holding signs about love as they knock down statues, break windows, and display violence. And I think: You are doing it wrong! Dreams about Teeth

I have an unusually high number of dreams that involve teeth for being someone so incredibly unrelated and uninterested in the Dental or Tooth Fairy business. Nearly all dreams that I can remember contain some reference to my teeth breaking a part and falling out of my mouth. Occasionally, my teeth will fall out one after another. Slowly becoming more loose over the course of the dream and then I sneeze and one falls out, or I bite down on food and a tooth comes out. Sometimes I will be chewing gum and it will stick so thoroughly to my teeth I have to spend hours attempting to yank it out of my mouth. These dreams quickly turn to nightmares and occasionally when I wake up a truly believe my teeth are all missing. Vanity or Stress...
